Tornados
Today I saw a real funnel cloud. No joke. It wasn't one of those times when I was like, hey that might be a funnel cloud. That thing was a tornado. It was spinning and everything. I was in my car driving home from lunch in Durham. I turned in the opposite direction. Kind of amazed and terrified at the same time. It was kind of like twister, except for the whole driving in the OPPOSITE direction thing. Oh yeah, and Helen Hunt wasn't sitting next to me.

"We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and to know that place for the first time."
This is one of my favorite quotes for several different reasons. First, it was the quote that was used when I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005. In that way, it unites all of us kids that graduated and set foot out into the real word, or back into school. So far, I've found T.S. Elliot to be right on track. We're caught in constant exploration of the future. We're in school, and we want out. We're out of school, and we want back in. And, with all the other curveballs life has thrown at us since 2005...jobs, programs, blessings, hardships, we learn things. So, when we find ourselves setting out to explore another part of life, we are in fact exploring for the first time. We've learned things, and we take those things with us in all of our exploring. This quote means a lot to me; so, since I just spent ten dollars to start a blog and write about whatever comes to mind, I figured I would start out with this one.
